Berlineta Project.

Design & Performance

The Berlineta Project is born as a Brazilian racing car. Based on the theme "Concept to Manufacture", the car is a design and verified using the most advanced virtual tools for the feasibility and feasibility of production.

Developed in 3D design and engineering software, the entire car is designed using components and technology already applied in cars in series. So a low production car, but  using components already applied on a large scale will be allying low maintenance and production cost with unique design.

The mechanical and functional components are available in the market, parts for low volume production and parts that equip models of automobiles marketed in the market.

An example is the windshield, the same marketed in auto parts market, with no development cost, being easy to replace, and mainly offering security for the occupants.

Our proposal for those looking for a competition car is to have the best cost-benefit ratio associated with the dynamics of a body and chassis designed 100% for performance.

Technical specifications

The Berlineta Project has compact dimensions for better aerodynamics and drivability. Its low weight allied to the balance of the chassis and engine positioning makes the model a legitimate competition car. The design of your body and chassis allows the assembly of various types of motorization and exchange.

Chassis: Steel Tubular - Standard for homologation.

Body: Fiberglass / carbon fiber components

Engine: Central / Rear wheel drive

Estimated weight: 850 Kg.
LED LIGHT SIGNATURE by HELLA®

Thinking about the flexibility of development, the project offers possibilities with covers in the frontal signalization, which offer options in DRL (photo), creating a design signature, highlighting the model, besides long-range LED headlight options, bigger safety for night competitions

Design for performance.

The proposal is to give style to performance within the theme where the car pays tribute to Willys Interlagos, the first Brazilian sports car.

There are details inspired by the old sports car, with elements that help aerodynamics and the pilot experience.   Detailing and refinement of body design and components as well as structural calculations of the chassis and suspension will be in charge of MICLA from Brazil, Germany and Italy.

The scope is to optimize the manufacturing process, so the car will be manufactured and assembled in companies with know-how that already produce other types of competition cars.

Details

The proposal is for those looking for a competition car and track day with the best cost-benefit ratio associated with the dynamics of a body and chassis aimed entirely for sportiness.

The design allows for lightweight and sturdy panels that will contribute to performance, helping to lower the center of gravity and providing optimal weight-to-power ratio.

Its front hood is designed for opening for radiator cooling and brakes. At the rear, the openings are divided into parts that facilitate partial or total maintenance of the powertrain, as well as having a large area for the hot air to exit the engine compartment.
